Clay Improv!

Doesn't that sound fun, just think about it...Clay Improv. Let me tell ya, it is amazing! I have occasionally mentioned the wonderful women I sculpt with, Clay Improv is what we call our little group. If you were to visit one of our get togethers you would realize that the name certainly fits the group. We are a feisty bunch of ladies who are certainly not afraid to voice our opinions.

For the last year these women have been my lifeline... this is something that they may be unaware of. They are funny and sassy, talented and ornery and man can they cook (Go Kate! - she is our resident Betty Crocker - never EVER call her Martha!) I have watched them sculpt, sew, laugh, cry, dance and even on rare occasion sing. I've seen them dressed up in wings and diligently sculpting in T-shirts and jeans, I have gotten to share in the excitement of a home remodel, watch adorable Halloween costumes come together, see the puzzle of a found object be worked out, watch creatures be born from simple blocks of clay, and so much more. I will never be able to express how much these women have helped me this year, just by being there. So to all my girlies at Clay Improv... thank you for helping me through this thing called life!

Ciao for now.
