A year to the day...

J.Onion

Wow, so  it has been a year since I last posted here.  Above is a piece I created for a friend. Titled J.Onion, she is an unusual creature to be sure. She's odd, she's got an onion for a head and she currently sits on the shelf of my friend/co-worker's office - the cleaning crew is just a tad frightened of J, but we all love her.

So in the past year I have taken some much needed time for me. I started working out, continue to eat a mostly healthy diet and have been working on those 11 resolutions from New Year 2011.

I have multiple projects in the works and have even completed some. This year has been good.

As I was re-reading my posts from the past I noticed that while I talk about my art, I use this site toramble about the feelings behind the art, personal ides, inspirations and usually throw in a quote or two. So keeping that in mind... I'm going to toss in some song lyrics from Kelly Clarkson's song Stronger

When I hear this song I smile. A couple years back I had a major life adjustment(for lack of a better word) and while at the timeI thought I has lost a lot, I have cometo realize that I didn't lose anyting. It took me a lot of pain and a lot of time to get where I am but I sure do like what I  have become and the life I have now.
